Girl's Night Out is officially sold out! Thank you so much to all of you registered...we can't wait to meet you!
We will be using this blog as a way to communicate with all of the attendee's, so check back regularly for updates and info. One of the main questions we are getting right now is what exactly you all need to bring with you to the event. While we don't have a master list yet, we can tell you that it will include things like your paper trimmer, scissors, adhesives, etc.

Update!
Hey, Everyone!
We've been busy busy busy with Girl's Night Out preparations and we just thought we'd give you an update on how things are going since we announced the event.
Registration is going really well. Spots are filling up but there is still room available, so if you're wanting to come, make sure you email us! And remember, you aren't confirmed until we RECEIVE your payment...at that point we'll send you your confirmation code.
We went and looked at the room where Girl's Night Out will be held at the hotel, and it's great. It will be so fun to get it all filled up with fun scrapbooking ladies!
We've been brainstorming on projects and picking out products for all the kits...some cutie-cute stuff. We can't wait to share...but not just yet...we want to surprise you all!
We've had some questions here and there in regards to the event, so we thought we'd address them here:
Q: What does my $99 include?
A: Basically...everything! Your registration fee is going towards everything that it will take to make the night happen: hotel costs, supplies, refreshments, product for the 3 kits, instruction by Janet, Kim and Talia, etc. We are doing our best to make sure that you all get the most bang for your buck!
Q: What supplies do I need to bring with me?
A: As the event draws closer we will let all attendee's know specifically what you need to bring, but for the most part it will just be the basics: paper trimmer, scissors, adhesives, pencil, black journaling pen, etc.
Q: Will there be dinner?
A: Due to cost and time, we will not be serving dinner, however, beverages and snacks WILL be available to all attendee's. Don't worry, we won't let ya starve...but DO have dinner before you come!
Q: When will I know exactly what the class projects will be?
A: We will be giving you "sneak peeks" as Girl's Night Out is coming up, but we really don't want to give everything away...we think the surprise is fun and we want to make sure you all are the FIRST to see what Janet and the Goodie Box Girls have in store. We promise, you will not be dissapointed and we are committed to providing you all with high-quality projects and ideas.
We hope this helps any of you out that may have questions. We can't wait to see you there, and we'll be back soon!

...to our First-Ever Goodie Box event,
GIRL'S NIGHT OUT!!!
We are so excited to finally be announcing our event that we've had in the works for the past few months. Here are the details:
When: Saturday, March 15th, 2008
Where: Best Western Sherwood Hotel & Conference Centre
Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada (about 15 minutes east of Edmonton)
Time: 5pm - Midnight
Cost: $99/person (canadian dollars)
Guest Instructor: Janet Hopkins !!!

Ever since we started the Goodie Box, we have always talked about having a fun night where we could get together with fellow scrapbookers, Goodie-boxers and friends. We wanted to do something smaller than a convention, but a little more than just a typical crop night...and that is how "GIRL'S NIGHT OUT" came into action! We wanted to create an event where you could scrapbook and learn from the industries best, Janet Hopkins, in an intimate and casual atmosphere!
Each person who registers for Girl's Night Out will be taught a project by Janet Hopkins, a project taught by Kim and Talia, another Bonus project as well as giveaways, refreshments, and more! We don't want to give away ALL the details yet...but trust us, it is going to be FUN!!!
So whether you are local or out-of-town, we hope to see you there!!!

We were absolutely THRILLED when Janet agreed to teach for us at Girl's Night Out!
Janet Hopkins lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband Rick and three children Taylor, Mckinley and Jake. She started this amazing journey called scrapbooking twelve years ago and is amazed by how much the industry has grown and evolved since then. Her work has been published in all of the major publications as well as the cover of Creating Keepsakes and Scrapbook Trends Magazine. She has contributed to over thirteen idea books including Ribbonrie and Paper Cachet for Making Memories and was a featured artist in the book Trendsetters by Scrapbook Trends. Her latest work can be seen in the pages of the just for looks idea book.
Janet’s full time position is Education Coordinator for the Heidi Swapp brand. She is an experienced educator having taught at stores and conventions across the country and truly has a passion for teaching people new ways to use the innovative products on the market today.
